PA Philharmonic: Life in Exposition of Water (2024). This year’s educational program focuses on the most important element of life, water. With musical selections from Johann Strauss Jr’s Blue Danube Waltz, to Florence Price’s Mississippi River Suite, to a Chinese folk melody, all the way up to a world premiere work written for the Pennsylvania Philharmonic’s education program, this program celebrates the long musical association between water and sound. Created for children in grades 4-8.
